Nautilus Chain: An L3 chain creating the fastest EVM environment in Web3. We are excited to announce the arrival of the Nautilus Chain Testnet — — Triton. Here’s a brief introduction to help you get started:
1. A Little Background
First, what is Nautilus Chain?
Nautilus Chain is the leading EVM scaling solution. It is the fastest EVM environment in Web3 and will combine the speed of Solana with the reliability and decentralization of Ethereum.
Nautilus builds off of the L3 vision laid out by Vitalik Buterin. An L2 can help scale L1 chains like Ethereum by batching transactions, thus separating the consensus and execution layers. Nautilus, as an L3 chain, takes that principle to the next level, adding a third layer for even more optimization. With Nautilus, developers will be able to build high-throughput dApps even when using EVM.
Nautilus Chain Benefits
High Throughput
Nautilus will have an initial TPS of 2,000, with much higher rates soon to come. Nautilus achieves such a high rate through parallelizing transactions instead of processing them linearly.
Easy for Developers
Solidity is the de facto Web3 language, and developers tend to prefer working with Solidity rather than a more specialized langue. Nautilus lets Solidity developers build high-throughput applications in an EVM environment.
Reliable
Even though Nautilus can eventually surpass Solana in TPS, it will be far more reliable because it is a sovereign rollup. This means that even if the underlying L1 consensus layer suffers an outage, it will still be able to execute transactions.
2. Ecosystem Incentives
To smoothly transition to the mainnet, Zebec DAO will set airdrops to incentivize early users. These tokens will also be used to incentivize community testing and contributions. Details of the plan will be announced later.
3.Getting Started
To get started with testing and using Nautilus Chain, connect your MetaMask wallet and add the network manually with the following information:
- How to connect the wallet?
- Get Testnet tokens
You can obtain testnet tokens (tZBC) from the web Faucet to complete various tasks.
4.How to participate in the Triton Launch Incentive Program
- Join Operation Horizon with a Zepoch Node
Zepoch Nodes are NFTs that identify Nautilus Chain’s early adopters, active members, and biggest promoters. All Zepoch holders will have access to exclusive rewards and benefits. Some holders, who meet the right conditions, will have become members of governance committees and hold extra voting power in Zebec DAO once Nautilus is on mainnet.
- Participate in the Testnet Referral Campaign
Nautilus Chain Launches Testnet Referral Campaign.Refer friends to earn more rewards as we build Web3 together!
To thank you for your help, we’ll be rewarding testnet participants! You can increase your chances of receiving future airdrops by having friends sign up test Nautilus with your referral link.
Here’s what you need to do to generate a referral link for your friends:
Step 1: Connect your wallet to https://refrush.nautchain.xyz/
Step 2: Obtain test tokens (skip this step if you have already claimed test tokens)
Step 3: Link your Twitter account
Step 4: Register
Step 5: Get your referral link, share it on Twitter, and share it with others
Increase your chances for future rewards by referring friends to join! To successfully sign up to test Triton, they’ll need to connect their wallet and Twitter account on https://refrush.nautchain.xyz/.
- Participate in the DApps beta test
Zebec Labs recently announced the Sea Cadet Ecosystem Fund to support developers and ecosystem growth. Developers ready for integration can apply for a partnership opportunity through the Apply application form.
Zebec is already collaborating with over 50 ecosystem projects, and others which will all soon be deployed on Nautilus Chain. To get updates on partners, follow our Ecosystem portal page, where we will showcase ecosystem dApps and infrastructure.

- Nautilus Chain Bug Bounty Program
The bug bounty program provides bounties for developers who squash bugs. Help us audit, identify, and report vulnerabilities within our network. See the Rules & Rewards below for details. Happy hunting!
Rules
- The bug must not have been previously unreported.
- The bug must be found under the work GitHub page, not the code of a third party.
- You must not have written the buggy code or otherwise been involved in contributing the buggy code to the project.
- You can start or fork a private chain for bug hunting.
- Public disclosure of a vulnerability makes it ineligible for a bounty.
- The bounty rewards are subject to standard KYC requirements and vetting in order to be eligible.
- Determinations of eligibility, score, and all terms related to an award are at the sole and final discretion of the Bug Bounty team.
Bug Severity Ratings:
- A minor issue is defined as one that has little to no impact on the security or functionality of the Nautilus Chain. For example, a typo in the documentation or a minor UI glitch.
- Low: A bug that could potentially have some impact on the security or functionality of the Nautilus Chain, but is relatively easy to mitigate or workaround. For example, a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability on a less frequently used page of the Nautilus Chain website.
- Medium: A bug that has a moderate impact on the security or functionality of Nautilus Chain, and may require some attention to mitigate or fix. For example, a denial-of-service (DoS) vulnerability in the P2P protocol could allow an attacker to disrupt the network.
- High: A bug that has a significant impact on the security or functionality of Nautilus Chain, and that requires prompt attention to mitigate or fix. For example, a buffer overflow vulnerability in the consensus protocol that could allow an attacker to take control of a node.
- Critical: A bug that has a catastrophic impact on the security or functionality of the Nautilus Chain, and requires immediate attention to mitigate or fix. For example, a cryptographic flaw in the economic model that could allow an attacker to create unlimited amounts of new tokens.
Nautilus Chain has allocated $20,000 for the bug bounty program. Please submit bugs in the optimization form.
